Carbon Neutral revegetated 12 hectares of this 41 ha property in the Tailem Bend area in June 2008.
| The revegetation was undertaken using local indigenous species with direct seeding machinery. Once established, the species association will reflect the typical Eucalyptus porosa open mallee woodland of the area. The low lying saline areas on this property are being rehabilitated with salt tolerant local species. |

| In 2007, 6.2 ha of this land in the Flaxley region was revegetated with a variety of species of native to the area. A further 6.5 ha has been revegetated in winter 2008. Due to the steep nature of the land, a combination of hand and machine direct seeding and tubestock interplanting has been used. |

| This has been an ongoing planting site for Trees For Life since 2002, and has received another planting this year over 16 hectares. Monarto Zoo acts as an educational site for children and adults, and the varied flora which has been planted here contributes to this, as well as acting as a carbon sink. |
| Although taken in 2007, this photograph gives you an idea of the Monarto Zoo site. This picture shows recently established seedlings providing buffering to remnant vegetation as well as habitat to local native animals. |
