Mariana Brekalo Office Support Guru

Mariana joined Carbon Neutral in April
2010. She holds a Bachelor of
Environmental Science and has a passion for all things outdoorsy. Mariana also
spent time with the Department of Environment and Conservation in their
Environmental Impact Assessment Branch. An avid traveller, she has spent time
in Europe, Asia, Canada and the US, exploring what the worlds' diverse
landscapes have to offer. She has a keen interest in developing solutions for
climate change at a grass roots level and initiating change.

Chris Doherty Business Development Manager |

|
Chris comes from a business management background and has experience
in the environmental management sector in South East Asia focusing
on reforestation, forest restoration, environmental education and carbon
offsetting. Chris has studied greenhouse gas accounting and advanced greenhouse
gas compliance and has a thorough working knowledge of greenhouse gas
accounting concepts and principles, trading through the compliance and
voluntary markets and the business case for sustainability. Currently
undertaking post graduate studies in sustainability, Chris is passionate about
working for the environment, fighting climate change, and working with business to address these issues.

| Ben joined the Carbon Neutral team in March 2008. He has experience in a range of roles and industries including hardware, electricity distribution and commercial forestry. Ben is currently completing a Bachelor of Commerce (Economics) and is interested in using economic principles to solve environmental problems like climate change while still maximising the satisfaction of society. He has a passion for gardening, animals and a respect for the delicate equilibrium of the natural systems of which we are a part. |

Annora has a Bachelor of Science (Conservation Biology) and a Bachelor of Arts with Honours (Sustainable Development). Her thesis focused on urban sprawl and food security, with attention to the impact of climate change. She has knowledge and experience in scientific methodology, land use changes, educational presenting and community development. She has a strong interest in the solutions to climate change.

Having several years experience in conveyancing , Koo has great communication and interpersonal skills. Koo also has experience as a trainer in workshop development and running high level conferences. |

Benjamin Reay Senior Carbon Adviser

Ben has a thorough knowledge of climate-related issues and its application to energy efficiency and carbon management. He has a proven track record of managing many successful sustainability and energy efficiency projects for business, local government and non-government organisations within Australia and internationally. Ben holds a degree in Environmental Science, certification from the British Research Establishment and is currently completing a Post Graduate Diploma (Energy Studies) at Murdoch University. Ben is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) and is a Professional Member of Engineers Without Borders (EWB).

Ginny Stubbs Administration Manager

Ginny has spent many years working in the legal sector. She specialised in litigation support and database and information management systems. She has worked for Carbon Neutral for three years and has developed Carbon Neutral’s current database system. She is strongly client focussed and endeavours to deliver prompt and timely service to all clients. She has developed a wide understanding of the organisation and is able to provide assistance wherever required. She has a passionate interest in the conservation of habitat and the protection of wildlife and relishes the opportunity to work in an area close to heart.

Angela Tillier General Manager

Angela has been working with Carbon Neutral since 2004 and has been instrumental in the growth of the organisation, introducing organisations such as Water Corporation, State Fleet and Western Power to Carbon Neutral’s prestigious list of clients. Her background includes running her own businesses in travel and public relations, managing a not for profit cancer charity for seven years, special event organization, freelance journalism, film production and more. Her interest in the environment was inspired by David Suzuki and her concern over the dire effects of Climate Change has become the driving force for her work.

Ray Wilson Chief Executive Officer

|
Ray has a diverse background in the agribusiness sector. Previous roles include senior management positions in agribusiness banking; property management and agricultural economist roles with the Heytesbury Group; and inaugural executive director with the Kondinin Group. More recently he was chief executive with Western Potatoes Ltd. He holds a Bachelor of Agricultural Economics and Master of Business (Marketing) degrees. He believes the farming and food industry faces a major challenge in meeting the growing demand for healthy food in a low carbon economy and with pressures to reverse the decline in biodiversity in the rural landscape. He is excited by the role Carbon Neutral is playing in working with rural communities and landowners to facilitate revegetation of degraded land and restore biodiversity and native habitats. |
